I have researched some additional facts about my documentary, more particularly about the internet technology use of kids,teens and adults. I am now picking the ones I find most relevant and intend to include some of them in my documentary:
Over 50% of the average waking day is spent on media or communication activity – more than is spent on sleep
Young children have been found to have the same knowledge and understanding of digital devices as the average 45 year old
Smartphones, computers, television and tablets are the first things that most people usually think of when the word ‘technology’ is mentioned
99% of those aged 16-24 have used the web
38 m adults (76%) in Great Britain have accessed the internet every single day in 2014
